Welcome!
Welcome to the White Sands Karate Classic. Our tournament is proud to offer Northwest Florida's premier martial arts tournament with a focus on the competitor. Our tournament understands the challenges of todays’ martial arts instructor and student and strives to provide the most fair, fun, competitive event that will motivate the student/competitor to return to their schools and push their training to the next level.
As school owners and instructors for over 30 years and having successfully ran and competed in local, national and International tournaments we understand the need for an event that will motivate, not de-motivate the student. Our goal is to provide an event that yourself or your students will be proud to say they are a part of and will take pride in competing in.
Along with a great Karate tournament we will also be hosting the WKA USA Team Tryouts. Do you think you have what it takes to compete with the worlds’ best and become the next “World Champion “? Then step up and tryout for your spot and chance to represent the USA at the next World Championships held this September in Orlando.

Dear Competitor:
We would like to invite you to tryout for the WKA-US National Karate Team. There are 2 events to qualify for the USA team this year. These are the only chances to qualify and to represent the USA in the 2012 WKA World Championships. The World Championships will be held in Orlando, Florida September 22 through September 29, 2012. The WKA team trials is an open tournament, where competitors must be selected by their national WKA organization to compete at the World Championships. Each country may bring up to three competitors in each division, and we want you to be one of them. The WKA is the world’s oldest and largest sanctioning body and continues to grow.
